Social expertise? Or Irene Cara?
Today’s game has to do with the idea of expertise in the field of social media. It seems to me that all you have to do is spout out lines from inspirational 80s movie theme songs.
Take, for example, the line, “Find your passion and make it happen.” That could be the warm words of any number of so-called social media “experts” who seek to inspire while making a couple bucks speaking at conferences, life coaching, or even writing e-books. That same line can be twisted to such proportions that one would never mistake it for a line in Irene Cara’s theme from “Flashdance,” What a Feeling.
My Twitter stream today shall be filled with knowledge not seen since the days of Irene Cara, Kenny Loggins and maybe even John Parr. Such fun.
